" Pretty Gothic"

I have to admit to having a penchant for things dark and Gothic, but try to stay clear of 1970's "goth" ideas in the style of head banging rockers with pythons and that sort of thing. Also, the rather tedious miserable black straight hair with a white face a la "vampires". However, vampires are having a bit of a moment right now, with "Twilight" etc, so we have have to find a small place in our hearts for them, (or a wooden stake!!) Now that I have managed to build a photo treasury, I decided to make the 1st theme softly gothic, with items chosen from folksy.
I hope you too enjoy my mini treasury xx

" Girly stocking fillers"

I had a great response to a recent thread in the Folksy forums, asking for ideas for "girly" stocking fillers. I particularly wanted to find hand made gifts for Mr. Tony's naughty little nieces, Eleanor 6yrs and Catherine 3yrs.
A big thank you and hugs to all who posted lovely items in the thread.
Here's a couple of pics of the stuff I bought, along side the mini Xmas stockings made by yours truly and listed in my Folksy and Etsy shops.

" Here Pretty Pretty !! "

One thing I've noticed about having my Folksy shop, is the way my hearted favourites seem to sit in colour co-ordinated rows, giving me fun ideas for mini treasuries.
I wish I could arrange this in a tidy little block of thumb nails, rather than a simple row of pics, but what the hell, life's too short to worry about such things !!
Here's my pick of pastel pinkness from Folksy sellers, who include...

" Folksy " Robins Nest Roundup!!

Robins live in and visit our garden all year round, but I especially love to see them in the winter as they are a reminder that the holiday season is not far away. We all look forward to the Christmas break and many morning lie ins followed by lots of telly watching, all cosy on the sofa!!! To celebrate Christmas robins, here's a selection of Folksy items, all with a robin connection. Of course, last Christmas was a total disaster, as Mr. Tony and I went away to Marrakesh, not realising that we had just caught a dreadful flu virus, but that's another story!!
